When we go through things in life, many of us tend to do life alone. We feel the shame and the weight of our issues. The heavy burden of feeling alone, not necessarily because we are alone but because we don’t fully trust others with our problems.
Community is vital. You are not alone, I was asked why? Why build a community of women outside of what you already do? The reason is because I get messages every single day outside of my state and I asked myself how can I implement all of what I do without stretching myself thin. I was consumed with advising, writing, creating, and more.
I wanted to make sure I was utilizing my time correctly. I remembered the moment I felt so alone. So defeated and it was so difficult for me to reach out to anyone. I had to learn the concept of community and friendship. So I created a safe space for women! Emerge Group is more than a girl group it a MOVEMENT! Women are joining and seeing freedom take place. We pray together, we chat together, we gather, we meet and more. Friendships are developed in community.
My moderators and I take lead on different groups.
one group is for married women who’s husbands have left the home, but they are believing in restoration. Another group is for married women who’s husbands are home and needing some help, another group is for women who are praying for kingdom spouses, also we have a girl group with women who just want to grow and heal. We all mesh together and meet twice a month! We love it! We learn together, pray and more.
